SRS luminaries are designed and built
for long life operation. The housing is heavy gauged die-cast
aluminium. The domed outer reflector maybe specified in a choice
of opaque spun aluminium or prismatic acrylic, in 40cm or 60cm
sizes. The aluminium option provides the highest degree of glare
control and is most effective in terms of delivering light to
the task area below.
The acrylic option enhances the appearance of a space by introducing
an element of sparkle and illuminating the upper walls and ceiling.
The specially shaped aluminium inner reflector is designed with
a semi-specular finish. A cut-out at the top of the collar for
the outer reflector allows up-light to be emitted for balanced
illumination, while allowing heat to escape.
