In late 2001 the Los Angeles Convention
Centre made a decision to try and cut their energy usage for
the 210,000 square foot West Exhibit Hall. They replaced 288
of its original 1000 watt metal halide fixtures with the SRS
400 watt fittings.
This project resulted in a 60% saving in electrical energy,
with an annual saving of over £37,000. As an added benefit
the SRS fitting also increased the halls lighting levels by
15%.

a huge difference to our operation, meeting our unique
and exacting requirements perfectly. The savings we made
were remarkable, and I would highly recommend the use
of SRS lighting to others in pursuit of a quality, highly
